A Provincial Training Safeguarding Event will be held on Tuesday May 24th 2016 at St Ninian’s Church, Castle Douglas from 12noon to 3 pm. Coffee and Tea will be available from 11.30. The Provincial Protection Officer, Donald Urquhart, and the Assistant Protection officer, Daphne Audsley, will carry out the training.
The main focus will be working with vulnerable adults including a section on domestic violence and will also include some time for PVG/Safeguarding matters. The session is open to all clergy, vestry members and PVG co-ordinators and also to any other members of your congregation who are involved with regulated work with vulnerable adults.
Please note this is repeat of the training held last November in St Margaret’s, Newlands, Glasgow.
