On Saturday 15th October in the Diocesan Centre in Glasgow, the Diocesan IT Officer Andrew Walker, will run a training course from 10:00 to 14:00.
The training is aimed at those who are currently involved in, or wishing to become involved in, administrating their church website. The training will give them the understanding and practical experience of setting up a website and maintaining it, including managing the content and publishing information to the website.
In order for this to work best, please bring a laptop, and content representative of your church. This could be pictures of the church, of people in the church (make sure you have their permission to use the photographs on the website), or welcome information, text, service times etc. If you can’t provide a laptop, let us know when you register for the course and we will try to help. The content could be on the laptop or on a memory stick.
Please bring a packed lunch, tea/coffee and biscuits will be provided.
This is hoped to be the first of these events and if the interest is sufficient, we will repeat the event as often as required, including holding it in the south of the diocese.
To register, please contact the Office staff on 0141 221 5720.
