Saturday 20th May   St. Aidan’s, Clarkston (Clarkston Toll, Mearns Rd, G76 7ER)

Jesus was a man who healed. The early church was a place of healing. Many churches throughout history have been places of healing. I believe healing should be part of the life of all churches today. Not special. Not spectacular. Part of the everyday life of a church. In many churches healing IS part of the everyday life of the church. Others question whether it should be. Others question how it could be introduced. Would you like to reflect further?

This morning is a time for reflection, asking those questions: why healing? How healing? When……….., and offering people the chance to receive prayer if they want. The morning is open to anyone interested, lay or ordained.

Rough programme:

10am – Why healing? How do we feel about it? What does the bible say? What was Jesus doing? What are we doing?

10.50 – Coffee/Tea

11.10 – How healing? How might a church introduce a healing ministry? What ways could it be done? What are the practical and pastoral issues?

12.10 – Worship, offering prayer for healing for any who would like to receive.

1.00pm – Lunch – if you want to bring some sandwiches……………….

Everyone is welcome, free! If anyone would like to come, lay or clergy – please let me know on 0141 776 3866, or E.mail Les949@btinternet.com

– or just come on the day (but it would be good to have some idea of numbers!)

Many thanks
