As part of the final celebrations for the 500th Anniversary of Maybole being granted Burgh status St Oswald’s have been asked by the Maybole 500 Group to host a Flower Festival the weekend of 5th & 6th August. This date has been chosen to co-incide with St Oswald’s day (5th) and to tie in with the 170th Anniversary of our congregation.
The chosen theme is celebrating Maybole today in flowers, with community groups and organisations taking part.
We hope members of other congregations in the diocese would like to come and see the Festival which will be open on Saturday 5th August from 10.30am to 4pm and on Sunday 6th August from 12.30pm to 5pm. Tea/coffee/juice and homebakes will be available in the hall throughout at a cost of £3.
