Clarkston Churches Together, in conjunction with Crossreach, are hosting an Open Day  on Saturday 7 October, 2017 from 10am to 3pm called  ‘Creating a Dementia Friendly Community’ at St Aidan’s Scottish Episcopal Church, Mearns Road, Clarkston G76 7ER .

The event will consist of workshops, a keynote address from  Andy Lowndes, co-founder with Sally Magnusson of ‘Playlist for Life’ and it will provide an opportunity for groups to showcase what they currently offer and to share concerns, good ideas, information and knowledge regarding a range of diseases an estimated 90,000 people living in Scotland are currently affected by.
