DESCRIPTION
Godly Play Discovery Day
Alex Mackenzie, the Godly Play Trainer for Scotland, along with Margaret Grant, experienced Godly Play Teacher, are heading the teams presenting the workshop event detailed below, taking place in Glasgow.
Godly Play Scotland was set up in 2010 simply to allow people to experience this very different, worshipful and effective way of exploring the Bible and our various traditions of Christian worship. In our experience almost everyone who attends these events finds them wonderful and inspiring, as well as friendly and informal. Many people want to find out more, and Godly Play Scotland will then support them as they start to use the method in their own situation.
In this basic introductory workshop day, participants will experience a complete Godly Play session, hear a few more stories, find out a bit about the background and philosophy of Godly Play, and learn how to obtain/make the materials required. There will also be plenty of time for questions and discussion.
Details are below. A5 size flyers and A4 size posters are available on request. These will help people seeing them for the first time to understand a little more about Godly Play, but there is much more information on our website at www.godlyplayscotland.co.uk and we are always happy to respond to questions and concerns.
